"It took 21 ladies less than four hours to turn 230 pounds of cheese into 326 cheeseballs for the CU TTT annual fundraising event.Proceeds from the group's fundraiser are used in many ways in the community. Last year it was spent for Congregate Meal tickets for people of the commuity, gas gift certificates, grocery gift certificates, poinsettias for the chapter members in Thomas Rest Haven, camp girls Christmas gifts, diapers for the food pantry, small personal items for several Thomas Rest Haven residents and for sending three girls to attend TTT camp in Eden Valley, MN. The cheeseballs are for sale and are available from any CU TTT member or by calling Linda Schroeder at 684-5224.
